Tonight we met a lot of brides at the Amada Wedding Preview. We are a preferred vendor for the Amada as well as many other hotels. Amada's packages include wedding invitations which sets them apart from the rest. The atrium roof opens up to reveal the stars at night. It's a beautiful place and on top of that, the food is great!
And the Doubletree LAX:
And the La Mirada Holiday Inn:
These are our featured hotels/venues that we love to work with. They've done the research for vendors and have their vendor referred lists, which is great for brides! The venues do the foot work work for you. It's great! Not to mention, our brides get a better invitation rate!

My Creative Wedding Contest for 100 FREE Custom Thank You Cards and Envelopes
Sometimes I wonder how many brides/groom actually read this blog? So to test it, My Creative Wedding is holding it's first blog contest! My Creative Wedding will be giving away 100 Free Thank You Cards and Envelopes to the bride/groom that leaves the most comments on our blog in the next month. Only one comment per bride/groom per post counts. You can have relatives/friends leave a comment on your behalf. Just have them mention "REFERRED BY..." and then your name! The contest will begin February 26 and end on March 26th. I will be posting a new blog entry EVERYDAY (which will be my challenge). You must leave a comment to this post to qualify.
Terms and Conditions: No purchase necessary. Incentive product is a $150.00 promotional value. Not redeemable for cash value.
THANK YOUs
I'm dedicating this first contest post entry to the concept of wedding thank yous. How do brides and grooms say "Thank You" with style? With favors of course! Wedding favors express your gratitude and happiness for your guests' presence on your special occasion. Me? I gave bamboo wind chimes that were imported from Thailand. Until now I find that most of my guests still have them up in their patio or backyards. It's great to know that they actually used it! But for the most of you that will be giving away delicious treats, favor packaging has become standard. But who wants standard? We all want the unique cute favor at each place setting. Here's a spin on the same favor purse box wrapped in different ways.
And your typical white box with My Creative Wedding creative dust sprinkled on it. It makes everyone happy. Your guests will think that the box is the favor!
It's all in the packaging. Plain white paper boxes can be done up in countless different ways. Wrap them with colorful paper, tie them with ribbon, and seal them with a My Creative Wedding personalized sticker!

Lace Invitation Sample
Had the pleasure of doing a few samples for a bride of mine.
Using trim for invitations always adds a little elegance and interest. The invitation is double matted and pulls out of the lace trim. The RSVP envelope hides behind it. Dark chocolate brown canvas paper adds more texture. Simple, elegant and just beautiful.
The table numbers, favors, place cards and menus can all carry the lace trim detail throughout the wedding reception.
